The Trump Organization, in partnership with Dar Global, has announced the development of Trump International Hotel Maldives, marking a significant advancement in luxury hospitality through tokenization. The official unveiling occurred on November 17, 2025, in Dubai, highlighting this pioneering approach to hotel ownership and investment.
Situated just 25 minutes by speedboat from Malé, the resort will feature approximately 80 ultra-luxury beach and overwater villas, offering unparalleled accommodations in one of the world’s most sought-after destinations. This project represents the first instance of a major hospitality brand implementing tokenization for hotel development, creating new opportunities for investor participation in high-end real estate.
Through this innovative structure, the development leverages blockchain technology to fractionalize ownership, allowing multiple investors to hold stakes in the property. This model provides enhanced liquidity and accessibility to premium real estate assets that were traditionally available only to large-scale investors.
The Trump International Hotel Maldives is scheduled to open its doors in the coming years, setting a new standard for luxury resorts while demonstrating how emerging technologies can transform property development and investment strategies in the hospitality sector.
