Video streaming platform Rumble, with a monthly user base of 51 million, has announced a strategic collaboration with Tether to integrate cryptocurrency and gold-based tipping features. The partnership was unveiled by Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski and Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino during their keynote address at the Plan B Forum in Lugano, Switzerland.
The new functionality will enable Rumble’s content creators to receive direct financial support through Bitcoin, Tether’s USDT stablecoin, and gold-backed digital assets. This initiative represents a significant expansion of monetization options for creators on the platform, providing them with additional revenue streams beyond traditional advertising models.
Industry observers note that this integration marks a substantial step toward mainstream cryptocurrency adoption in the content creation ecosystem. By leveraging Tether’s established infrastructure and Rumble’s extensive user network, the partnership aims to create a seamless tipping experience while maintaining the security and reliability users expect from financial transactions.
The implementation is scheduled for deployment in December, positioning Rumble as one of the first major video platforms to offer comprehensive digital asset tipping capabilities at this scale. This development is expected to enhance creator compensation models while providing users with innovative ways to support their favorite content producers using modern financial instruments.
